Meryem Tanis is an aspiring museum professional and an amateur oil painter. Tanis graduated with honors from George Mason University, where she studied History and Art History. Her primary research interests include Orientalism, decolonizing museums, and exploring cross-cultural exchange throughout Asia and the Middle East.
